Hey there fellow animal lover! 👋🏼 We are NC licensed Wildlife Rescue of Charlotte (WRoC) 🎸🥁, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We rescue sick, injured and/or orphaned wildlife from the Charlotte area and rehabilitate them with the goal of releasing them back into the wild. We also rescue & rehome discarded exotic pets.

We took in 292 animals in 2023 and in 2022 over 400 animals were brought into our care.


State licensed wildlife rehabilitators do not receive any funding from the State or government (the nerve!) and therefore rely solely on donations. These much needed donations allow us to purchase essential species specific formulas for orphans, food, fresh produce, enclosures, medicine & medical supplies, veterinary treatment and more.
